After a few false starts, Lex and the team were more than happy to jump in and rescue this job for a special family. And what a delight it was helping to bring this gorgeous, century-old girl back to life.
Phase 1 included freshly cladded walls, new skirts, archs and reveals, swapping out sash windows for recycled French doors, outdoor decking, a timber arbour entrance, an updated bathroom and finishing touches throughout.
Phase 2 included moving internal doorways, a new stairwell replacing existing treads and rises and the installation of a Velux Skytunnel to finish it off, as well as transforming an external entryway into a beautiful new Jetmaster Fireplace, surrounded by more of that stunning, v-groove cladding.
What a classic and beautiful family home she has become.
A word from our clients:
“Lex joined us in the midst of a renovation nightmare and turned things around with skill, competence, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
Every hurdle was met with a series of solutions, an eye for detail, beautiful craftsmanship and the completed results are stunning.
We couldn’t be happier, can’t wait to have him back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.”
